Signal Mountain is another fantastic mountain plateau just outside downtown Chattanooga. It is approximately a 15- 20 minute drive to the city center. It is a beautiful mountain top community with three elementary schools (Thrasher Elementary, Nolan Elementary and Nathan L Bachman Elementary) and a high school (Signal Mountain High). There is also village with small stores and a super market.
 
Atop Signal Mountain you will enjoy seasonal temps that are typically 5-10 degrees cooler than downtown. There are a variety of homes available on Signal Mountain from affordable cottages to brow-view mansions, and a lot in between!
 
There is access to wonderful hiking and biking trails all over Signal Mountain. The combination of school choices, a wide range of housing options and access to beautiful trails and stunning vistas make Signal Mountain a very desirable place to live!
